Marigold

Marigold is a collaborative work of Hollywood and Bollywood. The film is written and directed by Willard Caroll. It’s the story of Marigold (Ali Larter), an American actress, about her journey to India and how things effect her life. Salman Khan plays the male protagonist in th film.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the music. It’s a little different from their previous works, perhaps due to involvement of Graeme Revell, the man who has worked on the music of many major Hollywood productions including the Sin City series, Kingdom of Heaven, The Siege and many more. I actually enjoyed LMKK’s songs.Valha Valha is quite catchy, and No Problem will get them booties shakin’. I liked Hum Khushi Ki Chah Mein very much. It kind of sounds familiar, it is a great song nonetheless. I hope you like them too.

Life In A … Metro is a film by Anurag Basu and stars Kay Kay Menon, Sharman Joshi, Kangna Ranaut, Shilpa Shetty, Shiny Ahuja, Konkona Sen Sharma and Irfan Khan.

It’s a pretty normal sounding album by Pritam, with some good and some not so good songs. Not in the level of Pritam’s previous albums such as Gangster, Woh Lamhe, or Dhoom 2. Still worth listening though.
